Edinburgh-based hotel group Apex has unveiled plans its first English Venture outside of London to introduce its 10th hotel to the portfolio. The 177-room hotel in Bath will cost an estimated £35 million and is slated to include a swimming pool, gym, conference and meeting facilities.
“This is a rare and exciting growth opportunity for Apex to add to our portfolio and have presence in a popular UNESCO World Heritage Site,” said Norman Springford, Chairman of Apex Hotels.
The site is situated on the corner of Charles Street and James Street West within Bath City Centre and is ideally located within easy reach of tourist destinations with the world famous Roman Baths situated just 200 metres away.
A completion date is yet to be announced.
