West Elm to Launch Hotel Brand in 2018
West Elm’s influence in the commercial design sphere is expanding. The Williams-Sonoma subsidiary is partnering with development company DDK to launch West Elm HOTELS, lending the design company’s signature modern aesthetic to hospitality interiors.
The brand will furnish several hotels nationwide, with locations in Detroit, Charlotte, Minneapolis, Savannah, and Indianapolis. Each hotel will feature local design elements that celebrate and reflect regional décor and culture, and all of West Elm HOTEL’s furnishings will be available for purchase on the brand’s website.
The hotels are slated to open in late 2018.
