HIX returns this November with a new home
HIX Europe returns this year with an expanded format and a theme that reflects an industry in constant evolution
Taking place on November 25th-26th, Europe’s dedicated hotel design event is moving to Excel London, bringing together the brands, designers, products and ideas shaping the next generation of hospitality interiors. Appropriately, the theme for 2026 is ‘Changes’. From evolving brands and changing guest expectations to refurbishment, technology and new approaches to the way hotels look, feel and function, change touches every aspect of hospitality design. HIX will explore how the industry both responds to and creates that change through talks, installations, activations and products across the exhibition.
The move to Excel marks a significant new chapter for the show. Conceived as a connected, curated campus, the venue will become a blank canvas for an immersive hotel design experience, with installations, activations and talks woven throughout the show floor rather than sitting separately from the exhibition. At the heart of HIX remains its extensive product showcase, spanning the complete hotel interiors ecosystem – from furniture and FF&E to lighting, fabrics, bathrooms, surfaces, technology and objects. Returning exhibitors for 2026 include Laufen, Hypnos Contract Beds, Panaz, Hansgrohe Group, Julian Chichester and Porta Romana, joined by newcomers including Libra Interiors, Nalesso, Contract Chair Company and Porter Bathroom.
The wider line-up brings together names including Hector Finch, BAULMANN, Brintons Carpets, Chelsom, Elstead Lighting, Franklite, Heathfield & Co, LedsC4, Marset, Omio Atelier & Design, Pooky Lighting, Secto Design, Sensio Lighting, Zonca Lighting, alongside many more. Collectively, they will offer a curated edit of products and collections spanning everything from the considered details of a guestroom to larger concepts for hotels, restaurants and public spaces.Product discovery, however, is only one part of the programme. HIX describes itself as an event designed to be experienced rather than simply visited. Across two days, visitors can expect thought-provoking talks from leading hospitality figures, immersive installations by design studios, product launches and opportunities to connect with the wider design community.
The event is aimed at the full hotel design ecosystem, including interior designers, architects, developers, investors, operators, independent hoteliers, project managers, procurement teams and specifiers. Previous attendees have represented the likes of Accor, Four Seasons, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Marriott, Six Senses, WATG, HBA, David Collins Studio, Conran and Partners, G.A Group, Studio Mica and Goddard Littlefair. With a new venue and a theme that embraces transformation, HIX Europe 2026 promises a timely snapshot of where hospitality design is heading next. HIX Europe takes place at Excel London on November 25th-26th. Visitor registration is free.
